Privacy policy
The Real NFL Top 100 (https://nfltop100.com) is an independent fan project. We collect as little as we can get away with. This page explains what is stored on your device, what we keep, and how advertising on the site works.
1 · What we store on your device
- Anonymous voter cookie. A random identifier so your ballots and duels can be counted once and shown back to you on the Me page. It contains no name, email or account — there are no accounts. Clearing cookies starts you over.
- Time-zone cookie. Your UTC offset, so “one ballot per position per day” resets at your local midnight.
- Local storage drafts. Unsaved ballot picks are kept in your browser’s local storage so you don’t lose them on refresh. They never leave your device until you press save.
2 · What we keep on the server
Your ballots and duel picks, keyed to the anonymous voter id, with a timestamp. That is the entire dataset the rankings are computed from. We do not collect names, emails, IP-based profiles or precise location. Server logs held by our hosting provider (Vercel) may contain IP addresses for a short period for security and abuse prevention.
3 · Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookie-less and records page views and aggregate, anonymised device and country information. It does not track you across sites.
4 · Advertising (Google AdSense)
The site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its certified partners may use cookies and similar technologies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, to limit how often you see an ad, and to measure ad performance. Where required by law you will be asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change that choice at any time from the consent banner or the link in the footer.

- Opt out of third-party vendors’ personalised ads at aboutads.info/choices (US) or youronlinechoices.eu (EU).
- How Google uses information from sites that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
5 · Your choices
- Delete the site’s cookies in your browser to discard your anonymous voter id; your past votes stay in the aggregate but are no longer linked to you.
- Use a content blocker or your browser’s tracking protection — the site works without ads.
- Manage ad personalisation via the links above or the consent banner where it is shown.
6 · Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
7 · Changes & contact
If this policy changes, the date at the top will be updated. Questions can be sent through the site’s contact details in the footer. The Real NFL Top 100 is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Football League.
